On episode #091 of Hardcore Henderson, Benny Henderson Jr. sits down with musician David Thibodeau, who plays drums for the rock band, The Blast Addicts. Hailing from Orono, Maine, The Blast Addicts showcase a sound that includes various varieties. You’ll hear rock, maybe a dash of pop, a sprinkle of funk, and even an 80’s hairband vibe to their tunes. David speaks out on the band’s style, his musical influences, what to expect when you attend their show and much more.
David also touches on his time with David Koresh at the New Mount Carmel Center near Waco, TX. His book, “A Place Called Waco: A Survivor’s Story”, the miniseries, “Waco” which starred Michael Shannon and Taylor Kitsch and aired on Spike. Including his personal account of the events that unfolded during the fifty-one day standoff with the Branch Davidians, and the tragic day of April 19, 1993 that took the lives of eighty-two Davidian’s and four ATF agents.
